Today, I’m thankful for the brave yes.
I went to the Influence Conference against my will and I turned strangers into friends. I found a piece of God’s heart for me. I discovered my own gifts and quirks and weaknesses, all of which need to be addressed. I developed dreams and goals. I gained new perspectives on life in general.
None of it would have taken place if people hadn’t leaned in and helped. None of it would have happened if I had listened to my head and said no. Instead, we all used our brave yes and I was changed. And today, I’m thankful for that.
