Not a day goes by that Christopher doesn’t ask his newest daughter, “Where did you come from?!”
Hadassah Lee has been such a source of joy and peace since her birth, such a reminder of God’s faithfulness. She’s fit right in since the beginning, something for which I’d prayed and hoped. It’s like she was always here.
This little baby is noisy and busy, which I’m sure she gets from her mother. She’s been smiling (for real, y’all) since two weeks of age, which I’m sure she gets from her father. She lets the other kids carry her her around and kiss on her without a fuss, and she eats and sleeps like an angel.
I know it’ll get harder and easier as the months and years pass, but right now things are blissful. I can’t get enough of this child. There is no doubt in our minds that our girl was given to us for such a time as this.
